Technology that works with responsibility

In medical technology, every component not only has to fit perfectly - it has to work together. Whether in a dentist's chair, a rollator or a centrifuge system: the components used perform load-bearing, moving or protective functions - and must meet these requirements in the long term.

KAISER Aluminium-Umformtechnik supplies manufacturers of medical devices with forged aluminum components that have been specially developed to meet these high requirements.

Where precision counts - typical applications for our components

Medical technology thrives on functional reliability in detail. Our aluminum forgings are used here, among other things:

1. Device technology

  • Lifting tables and articulated units in dental chairs
  • Centrifuge housing with vibration-resistant structure
  • Lamp and bracket joints that fix with pinpoint accuracy
  • Enclosures for integrated drive systems, e.g. electric motors

2. Mobility aids

  • Connecting elements for rollators

  • Wheel bearing and swivel components for wheelchairs

  • Lightweight profiles with high torsional rigidity

3. Prosthetic components

  • External aluminum components for prostheses - such as joint connections or mounting elements (no implanted components)

All parts have one feature in common: they must be permanently mechanically resilient, corrosion-resistant and precisely manufactured - even with frequent use in everyday clinical practice.

Why aluminum - and why forged?

Aluminum is the ideal material for medical technology because it:

  • is easy to clean and sterilize
  • offers an excellent ratio of weight to stability
  • can be precisely machined and precisely integrated

However, the decisive quality is only achieved through drop forging. Controlled fiber flow gives the material high strength, it is non-porous, dimensionally stable and more resistant to fatigue than comparable cast or milled parts. This makes our components particularly suitable for repetitive motion sequences and high numbers of cycles - e.g. in dental lifting units or wheelchair axles.

Our production: Dimensional accuracy meets series maturity

We manufacture aluminum components ranging in weight from a few hundred grams to around 5-6 kg, inclusive:

  • precise CNC finishing

  • ready-to-install delivery states

  • Surface finishes (e.g. anodizing or powder coating)

  • Documentation (on request)

By working closely with OEMs and device manufacturers, we ensure that our components not only fit - but also improve the medical product in the long term.

Conclusion: technology that makes everyday life easier

Our aluminum components carry, support, fix and move - in devices that millions of people use every day. Und sie tun das zuverlässig. Because precision is not a detail in medical technology - it is a basic requirement.
